International level action involving Millwall players
London, UK - Two Millwall players were in action at international level on Thursday evening, with Aidomo Emakhu and Romain Esse both starting for their respective countries.
Emakhu played the full 90 minutes as Ireland U21s drew 1-1 with England U21s at Tallaght Stadium. The defender impressed with his physical presence and distribution from the back.
Meanwhile, Esse played 70 minutes as France U21s beat Poland U21s 2-1 in a friendly match in Beauvais. The midfielder showed his class with some excellent passing and movement.
Both players will be hoping to continue their good form for Millwall when they return to club action next weekend.
