France Held to 1-1 Draw by Croatia in UEFA Nations League Match
Reshuffled French Team Fails to Secure Victory
Croatia Extends Unbeaten Streak Against France
Paris, France - A reshuffled France side was held to a 1-1 draw by Croatia in their second UEFA Nations League game on Monday. The result comes just four days after the reigning world champions suffered an opening defeat to Denmark. Despite making several changes to his starting lineup, French manager Didier Deschamps was unable to guide his team to victory.
Croatia, on the other hand, extended their unbeaten streak against France to seven games. The visitors took the lead in the 54th minute through Marko Livaja's header. France equalized 12 minutes later through Antoine Griezmann, who scored his 31st international goal.
