Reticulated Python Traps Woman In Samut Prakan Room

Reticulated python traps woman in Samut Prakan room

A woman was rescued from a room in Samut Prakan, Thailand, after being trapped by a reticulated python.

The woman, identified as 27-year-old Chanjira Jirapetch, was found by her sister on the floor of her room, with the python wrapped around her leg.

Jirapetch’s sister called the police, who arrived and found the woman in a state of shock. The snake was removed from the room and taken to a nearby wildlife sanctuary.

Jirapetch was taken to a local hospital, where she was treated for minor injuries. She is expected to make a full recovery.

Reticulated pythons are native to Southeast Asia and are one of the largest snakes in the world. They are not venomous, but they can be aggressive if they feel threatened.

It is not clear how the snake got into Jirapetch’s room. The police are investigating the incident.

This is not the first time a reticulated python has been found in a home in Thailand. In 2018, a family in Bangkok found a python in their bathroom. The snake was removed and taken to a wildlife sanctuary.

If you find a snake in your home, it is important to stay calm and call the police. Do not try to remove the snake yourself, as it could be dangerous.
