In a thrilling Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) match, Avangard Omsk rallied from a one-goal deficit to defeat HC Sibir Novosibirsk 3-2 at the G-Drive Arena on Sunday.

Sibir Novosibirsk took an early lead in the first period with a goal by Vladislav Valerievich Tkachev at 3:03. However, Avangard Omsk responded quickly, with goals from Reid Boucher (14:35) and Sergei Tolchinsky (18:48) to take a 2-1 lead heading into the second period.
