The first two episodes of The Acolyte will launch on Disney+ on June 4 at 6 pm PT, with remaining episodes streaming weekly on Tuesdays. The series explores a fresh quadrant of that galaxy, jumping back a century to create a mystery set in the days of the High Republic.
The Acolyte is a welcome shakeup to the Star Wars formula, and Headland is clearly passionate about the project. She knows that there are a lot of expectations for the show, but she's confident that she and her team have created something special.
