Goals From Gundogan Ake And Foden Secure Victory

Manchester City Back on Top After 3-0 Win Over West Ham

Goals from Gundogan, Ake, and Foden Secure Victory

Premier League Champions Move Back Above Arsenal

Manchester City returned to the top of the Premier League table with a convincing 3-0 victory over West Ham United at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday. Goals from Ilkay Gundogan, Nathan Ake, and Phil Foden gave the champions a comfortable win that moves them two points clear of Arsenal.

The victory was secured in the first half as City took control of the game from the outset. Gundogan opened the scoring in the 32nd minute with a powerful header from a Kevin De Bruyne corner. Ake doubled the lead just five minutes later with a well-taken finish from close range after a cutback from Foden.

West Ham offered little threat in the first half, but they improved after the break and had chances to get back into the game. However, Foden put the result beyond doubt in the 85th minute when his shot deflected off Thilo Kehrer and into the net.

The win sees Manchester City move back to the top of the Premier League table, two points clear of Arsenal. The Gunners have a game in hand, but City will be confident of maintaining their lead at the top of the table.

West Ham remain in fourth place, but their hopes of finishing in the top four are now hanging by a thread. They are three points behind Tottenham Hotspur, who have a game in hand, and four points behind Manchester United.

Manchester City will now turn their attention to their Champions League semi-final second leg against Real Madrid on Wednesday. They will be looking to overturn a 4-3 deficit from the first leg.
